They found that the iNitial recovery rate of waste aluminum foam reached approximately 75%, and after treating the slag, the total recovery rate could exceed 92%. The ideal recycling method is to first shred the waste into small pieces (approximately 100mm) and then add the shredded pieces to molten aluminum while stirring. This allows the waste to quickly enter the molten aluminum and avoids oxidation loss.
