Low density, light weight: density range 0.5-1.1g/cm3, around 25% of aluminium.
Heat resistance: working temperature up to 300°C.
Impact resistance: not as directional as honeycomb and not as recoil-elastic as polymeric materials, beneficial for absorbing impact energy.
permeability: the spheres are linked by porous aluminium pores, with three-dimensional openings for breathable permeability.
Sound absorption performance: sound absorption coefficient up to 0.95 and noise reduction coefficient up to 0.48 when the sound wave frequency between 125 – 4000 HZ.
Thermal insulation performance: the thermal conductivity is approximately 1/400 of pure aluminium.
Electromagnetic shielding performance: when the electromagnetic wave frequency is between 2.6 – 18GHZ, the electromagnetic shielding amount of spherical porous aluminium can reach 60 – 90dB.
Resistivity: 100 times that of pure aluminium.
Corrosion resistance: good weather resistance, low moisture absorption, non-aging and non-toxic.
The sphere porous aluminium bubble chamber is spherical, relatively regular, with small round holes in the chamber wall connecting the spheres, opening in 6 directions, avoiding straight through holes, which is conducive to sound absorption, filtration and attenuation of sound volume.
In practical application, the ideal application effect can be obtained through the design and process control of sphere size (diameter 3-13mm), wall hole size (diameter 0.5-4mm), hole wall thickness and plate thickness.
